I come from a large family with thirty-two cousins from my mothers' side of the family and countless from my fathers' side of the
Family. They are mostly based in Nigeria, but I have a few scattered in other parts of the world.
Just like most Nigerian Families , we are a very close
group and sometimes it seems like we are our own little community. They are the funniest, wackiest people you will ever meet.
Most members of my family are pretty laid back, we joke around a lot and it hard not to love them.
There is an African saying - "A child is raised by a
village" - This hold very true to my family, I think my Aunts and Uncles had just as much influence on the person I
am today, as my parents.
I have a lot of fun memories of my family and that what
keep me from missing them too much being 14000 miles apart and all. One of my foundest memories are the slumber parties we
had - Friday nights.
